Re: [Nuke-users] Frischluft-Arnold workflow?

2012-02-21 Thread Gabor L. Toth
Hi, we are using unfiltered zpass for Frischluft, we found this is best for proper edges. And we programmed our Arnold shader so that it outputs the z range similar to nuke, (1/z I think) so it can be combined with nuke scanline render right away. (But often need to grade up the z pass with a

This thread is somewhat timely as we are dealing with a related but much more serious issue here. We still haven't been able to pin it down but we're finding that artists with very large amounts of rotopaint strokes are at a much higher risk for having corrupted .nk files, resulting in lost work.

John,Yikes! Have not encountered that problem - and I hope I never do! That sounds like something that would make you want to go home for the rest of the day... I've just had the sluggishness and delay problems. I guess I should consider myself "fortunate"! (8^\RichRich Bobo Senior VFX

In the output parameter you can define a channel to pipe the matte of the edgeblur out through. you can then use this matte to feed into a keymix and regrain your image in that region. On Tue, Feb 21, 2012 at 3:10 PM, Darren Coombes dar...@resolutiondesign.com.au wrote: Hi, does anyone know of

Thanks for that, I tried a key mix with a edge detect from the alpha channel, and that worked ok, but I'll give your method a try. Thanks. Darren Coombes Tel: +61 2 9520 3633 Mob: +61 418 631 079 Skype: darrencoombes iDisk: https://public.me.com/darren.coombes On 22/02/2012, at 11:32
