Yeah thats crazy. I even tried changing the read frame range and the comps
frame range. an option might be to render out the range of the frames you
want to a new unique name and then bring that in to use for the analyze.

Sounds like a bug, I would follow up with supp...@thefoundry.co.uk about
this.
Off the top of my head though as a work around, add a timeclip node before
the PointCloudGenerator with the frame range you want. That should
override it...I think.
