I think the foundry should just include the mkdir functionality in write
nodes and have it as a toggle that you can set in the global defaults. I
would guess they are afraid of people mistakenly making thousands of
directories.

Occasionally when I render Write nodes with multiple views, I get this
error message when I attempt to render a subset. It isn't with every
write note, and some write nodes, that output quicktimes, will only
let you render one view at once.

Does anyone know how to set some default values for the curves in the Range tab
of a ColorCorrect mode? Specifically the highlights, since they never live in
the 0.5-1.0 range that the node defaults to.

If you edit the settings in a ColorCorrect node, then dump out the
settings string with
nuke.selectedNode()['lookup'].toScript()
..then you should be able to use that string in knobDefault I think
(might need to be careful with escaping special characters, not tested)
