It's actually the 'separate faces' knob. When on the cube isn't really a solid
mesh but 6 cards/planes.
The PolyCube is just a gizmo around Nukes Cube with separate faces off and some
options/knobs consolidated.

It's building handles for uv-editing.
Setting 'layout' to 'None' should take care of that

Never resolved how to deal with an object's pivot in relation to falloff. I'll
try to add this case as the default soon.
In the meantime, if you export the card with the pivot where you want it, then
import that - should work as expected.
