Hey all,
I've tried some very base configs with the powercom 2200, but I can't seem
to get it to work. Has anyone dealt with these UPSes before, or know if
they use the standard powercom drivers?
I'd be more than happy to allow access to my test system so someone more
knowledgeable can
I have a MGE Evolution 3000 connected via USB to a linux server (HP
Proliant G3). The server is running kernel 2.4.30 and nut-2.0.3. But
before nut trying to connect to the UPS, I guess HID doesn't work as
long as I get a message like this in dmesg:
Thanks Arnaud.
Now I'm getting the error::
# cat /etc/ups.conf
[mgeups]
driver = newhidups
port = auto
desc = MGE UPS at servers room
# /usr/local/nutups/bin/upsdrvctl start
Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.0.3

Let me add the following to my previous email: a strace of upsdrvctl
# strace -ff /usr/local/nutups/bin/upsdrvctl start
execve(/usr/local/nutups/bin/upsdrvctl, [/usr/local/nutups/bin/upsdrvctl,
start], [/* 34 vars */]) = 0

Short version - can I run NUT on an AIX box with UPS that has a USB
interface, like a Tripplite OMNI1500 XL?
I downloaded the source and compiled it, but then noticed that while the
source file tripplite_usb.c file is present, it wasn't compiled (this is the
driver shown on the compatibility list
Hello all,
I'm using Nut quite happily with my Powerware 9125 and 9115 UPSs. I'd
like to delay restoring power to the computers after a loss of power
shutdown until a reasonable battery charge has been restored, to prevent
repeated shut downs in a brown out or storm situation. I know I read
