problem become easier, if one targets particular types of sites, such as popular Wiki, Bug Trackers, Blogs, CMS, Forum, document management systems (first)? Hi, I'm pretty sure the answer is negative, but I've got to ask - is support for form-based authentication available somewhere within Nutch? I believe Nutch does not support form-based auth, so the next question to ask is - is there a suitable place to plug this in? I have not looked

nutch and form based authentication

I'm planning to use nutch to implement an intranet search engine. One of the sites being crawled is a Jira instance protected by form authentication. After reading the documentation and mailing list archive I've found out that nutch doesn't support form based authentication.
