threatening, at the Ironwood Drive powerline cut I still managed to see many

A Sandwich Tern was present on the blustery flats at Cupsogue, near Moriches
Inlet, this afternoon, accompanied by two Arctic Terns--one First Summer and
one Second Summer-type. Also seen were one Roseate, two First Summer Common,
and five Second Summer-type Common Terns.

There was a Kentucky Warbler in Doodletown this morning. I found the bird a
hundred yards or so up Pleasant Valley Rd. from its start at the T intersection
with Doodletown Rd. I heard it singing as soon as I made the left turn onto
Pleasant Valley Rd. and saw it on both sides of the road. Around
