This evening after work I got word there was a Wilson's Phalarope again
visiting Field 7 at Hecksher State Park. I made it there around 5 and found
the bird in the small puddle in the parking lot (the grassy wetland has

This morning, I went to Pine Island to see if the front brought in any new
birds. I was pleasantly surprised to find many new birds. While watching
American Golden Plover, Buff-breasted Sandpiper and a briefly seen RED-NECKED
PHALAROPE, I spotted four HUDSONIAN GODWITS. These birds were in a

I was up in that area this morning and saw a LARK SPARROW on Indiana Rd. The
bird was first on the rd on the left past the model airplane area near the
large trees. On the way back out again the bird was still there but I then
