Two RAZORBILLS (at least) were present in Jones Inlet during the early afternoon. From the fisherman's parking lot, looking north toward the Loop Parkway Bridge. I became aware of their presence when one was relatively close, and drifted behind some Red-throated Loons I had been photographing.

For anyone looking for the avocet in Brooklyn tomorrow, below are the coordinates. It was initially observed on the north side of Coney Island Creek at: 40°34'52.32"N 73°59'29.68"W It was eventually chased off by a few crows and settled on the south side of the creek at: 40°34'52.83"N
