I haven't seen anyone else post on it today, so I thought I should note that the Rufous Hummingbird at the Hayden Planetarium/Rose Center on West 81st Street has made it to February. I saw the bird around 2:45 PM, thanks to someone who was photographing it, but whose name I don't know. Of course

Croton RR Station, Croton Pt. Park and Shawangunk Grasslands 1 Feb Joe Giunta and I (Sy Schiff) went to the Croton RR station looking for eagles. No luck. We then went over to Croton Pt. Park and managed to find a GOLDEN-CROWN KINGLET. Returning to the RR station, we found off in the distance
