I noticed a very unusual duck while birding Tifft this afternoon. It appeared to be a male Mallard hybrid of some sort (my best guess is American Wigeon). The bill had a grayish tip, and the remaining 2/3 of the bill was dark in color. The back/ scapular area was typical for a drake Mallard.
