Bryant Park 6pm - Prothonotary still present in SW corner. Lots of Ovenbirds,
Catbirds and Common Yellowthroats, and a Redstart. The females are arriving -
Yellow, Common Yellow-throat, Yellow Rumps, B and a beautiful female Towhee
still hanging around. A trio of Great Crested Flycatchers
Alec Human spotted a Yellow-throated Warbler this morning. The bird was later
seen by John Barton, Kevin (I believe that's his name - I don't know his last
name), and myself. John and I had views as close as 10 feet away (John took
many photos). Alec also had a Canada Warbler which I believe

They both were instrumental in forming the IBA Area, Cove Island Wildlife
Sanctuary in Stamford, CT.
The heavy rains put down a lot of birds in the county yesterday. There was
almost no detectable passerine movement, but Loons, Scoters, Cormorants etc as
well as a few shorebirds put in an appearance.
