Mattituck, in a flock of ~ 350 Canada Geese, there were 3 with neck collars,
leg bands or leg flags on them. 2 of these birds were from the same banding
study in west Greenland, that is referenced below. The 1st CAGO

Razorbill between there and David's Island.

As of late this afternoon, the Black-headed Gull continues to be seen north of
the dam at Mill Pond in Setauket. The bird stayed north of the tidal creek,
picking about the benthos with a group of mallards. It would occasionally lift

late American Golden Plover feeding in the median just east of Field 8. The
count period for the Captree CBC starts tomorrow. Perhaps (however unlikely)
the bird will stay till Sunday. Attempts to turn the bird into
