this afternoon was singing more.
In addition, the Redstart was active around a wet area to the east of the
stairs from 46th Avenue all weekend.
I was at Prospect Park when I got the email about the white-faced Ibis. Before
I left I was able to see Palm, Pine, Yellow-rumped and my first of year

I was informed through personal communication (from someone not on the list)
that the HOODED WARBLER was seen both days of the weekend around the
Springfield Blvd. staircase at Oakland Lake, Queens. I still haven't seen
it. Have to get out of the neighborhood on weekends. So this is my report

While the Yellow-Throated Warbler was a no-show this morning (at least

Had a number of migrants this afternoon at the New York Botanical Gardens in

Jim Bourdon observed and photographed a Sandhill Crane at Croton Point
County Park in Westchester County on Thu Apr 18, ~9am, taking off from
south side of the landfill and flying east toward the Croton River.
Folks, I saw 4 Razorbills from the Point this afternoon. They were on the water
fairly far out.

Correction: some confusion about roads off Dune Rd. Phalarope is working along
shoreline on bayside opposite the real Road L (sign, which is on oceanside of
Dune Rd). This is west of the first road that looks out onto the island with
the large BC Night-Heron nesting colony.

Just to clarify:
Road L is the second parking area west of Ponquogue Bridge. It is actually
incorrectly listed as "Road K" on Google Maps.
The bird continues in the cove just across from Road L. Both roads are posted
on Dune Rd and you can't miss it.
