Does anyone have a late date for osprey in Suffolk County?
Seen from Swezey Street around 4:00 PM.
Checked for the Ravens and saw nothing
Also the Bufflehead continues at Swan Pond Preserve. Any photographers out
there interested in getting great shots should give it a try - there's
really not

head and cd see bright yellow eye and blue billAmericn Kestral top of deciduous
tree along westside
I received a call from Bob Anderson that the Common Ground Dove continues
at West End II, Jones Beach State Park in the northeast quadrant of the
parking lot. It was associating with a few Mourning Doves.

I just received a text from Karen Ohearn that the Cassin's Kingbird is back in
the community garden area at Floyd Bennett Field.

A brief stop at Point Lookout this morning yielded 2 Harlequin Ducks inside the
inlet as well as 28 Common Eider off the main parking lot. Horned Grebes are
certainly in.
At Jones Beach the Marbled Godwit continues with many oystercatchers, Dunlin
and Black-bellied Plover at the Coast Guard
Could not find the CAKI in about an hour search of its usual haunts in the
community gardens at Floyd Bennett Field Brooklyn.
