I've seen several reports of Monk Parakeets at Seamans Neck Park in Seaford;
despite them being domestic pets, is it safe to assume that they are an
established species in the area or just vagrants, therefore ineligible to be
counted for one's lifelist? I'm home for the holiday break and was

This afternoon at 2 pm, as Sean Sime reported earlier, the *Barnacle Goose*
continued along Wellwood Ave. at St. Charles Cemetery until it was chased
away by the cemetery groundskeepers. The flock appeared to land at the
Colonial Springs Country Club, which is private. Additionally, there were

2014. Temperatures ranged from 34 to 44 °F with Dew Point temperatures
ranging from approximately 29 to 32.7 °F. Peak wind gusts ranged from
approximately 3 to 10 mph from the N/NW throughout the day. No snow on the
ground
Gary Chapin found the Cassin's Kingbird around the community garden at
Floyd Bennett Field a couple of hours ago.
