January 16 and ends Sunday, January 24. The target date is Sunday, January
17. Waterfowl to be counted include geese, swans, ducks, loons, grebes,

At about 4:45 PM, while driving home from work, I stopped to quickly detail a
flock of Canada Geese at the back end of the athletic fields at Sweet Hollow
Middle School in Melville. Within the flock was a single Ross's Goose.
This is very likely one of two individuals from the
Lark Sparrow continues at Croton Point Park, Croton-on-Hudson. It was feeding
directly infront of the picnic gazebo by the main parking lot at 4:30 PM this
evening, associating with several Am. Tree Sparrows.

The 92nd Bronx-Westchester Christmas Bird Count held Sunday December
27,2015 found 114 species plus Blue Goose and an additional 3 count week. The
The See Life Paulagics pelagic trip on Saturday, January 9, went very well.
Water temperatures are still exceedingly warm for this time of year, and
our temperature range was ~47.5-50° F.
Typically these 8-hour inshore trips hope for closer-to-shore pelagic
