A second hand report came in today that the Gyrfalcon paid a visit to the
State Line Lookout along the Palisades in NJ this afternoon. When the bird
departed it flew east across the river over Yonkers.
Gyrfalcons cover a tremendous area and it is well worth checking areas

Hi Everyone,
A 1st winter Ross's Gull was viewed throughout the day today in the Town of
Tupper Lake. It was viewed in back of a private residence on Simon Pond.
The owner, Jack Delehanty, is fine with visitors. Birders stood on his
outside deck at the back of the house to view the gull. Con

In our quest for rare birds to add to our lists, are we pushing too hard? Is

When working on the NYS eBird Hotspots wiki I'll compare the previous bar

Hi folks!
I received a phone call this morning from Larry about a first cycle
Ross's Gull in Tupper Lake.
For any observers in the area/potential chasers, Nick Bonomo reported via
Facebook that the bird was videoed yesterday, January 25th.
