head (or "hood") continues at the area just west of East 68th Street,
south of park entrance at East 69th and the woodpecker regular near a
modest-size Shagbark

LaGuardia Airport in Queens.

The bird is indeed being seen near 712 Sandhill Road but this location is in Ulster County, east of SGNWR as the goose flies. Many thanks again to Bruce Nott for discovering this county first yesterday.
