I found a pair of TRUMPETER SWANS  on Catfish Creek where Winks Rd crosses the creek in Palermo late this morning.  As a bonus, I heard a WINTER WREN singing from the underbrush on the west side of the road.After seeing several migrating raptors during my travels around Oswego County this morning,

Late this morning I found a male EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL in with a flock of American Green-winged Teal at the Visitor Center pool at Montezuma NWR, Seneca County. It was fairly easy to pick out from the Americans by the lack of shoulder bar, although the white side stripe was often obscured. I
