Hello all, I'm looking for advice as to what the bird of prey could be that populates our backyard in the Catskills. He's been coming on and off, and all other birds disappear when he heads in. Sometimes gnags of Blue Jays try to chase him away. He had a rabbit for lunch the other day. The

[nysbirds-l] Black Vultures in Scarsdale again

Saw one of the two Black Vultures in the same spot as before on Central Ave. in Scarsdale near Scarsdale Ford.  They must be living in the area.  Also had a Red-shouldered Hawk and common raven along with many Fish Crows.  I don't know if anyone else has noticed but the Fish Crows are much,
