Two male European Wigeon were present near the south end of Patchogue Lake this
morning along with about 100 American Wigeon, several hundred Ruddy Ducks and
smaller numbers of the usual local mix- Shovelers, scaup, Gadwall, RIng-necks
etc. About 10 Pintail were at the north end of the lake, north of Roe Blvd.

Nearby Swan Lake had surprisingly few duck- a couple of American Wigeon and a
few Buffleheads.
