For anyone birding eastern Suffolk, there was a large flock of American
Pipits at Fresh Pond in Amagansett yesterday afternoon.
We had run into a couple further west who told us there were Pipits in the
parking lot at Fresh Pond. When we arrived -- no Pipits-- only a flock of
Juncos.
