Presenter: Tom Stephenson

A New System For Learning and Identifying Warbler Vocalizations

Last year, Tom Stephenson and Scott Whittle introduced the birding world to
a new approach to warbler identification in *The Warbler Guide*. In this
presentation, Tom will cover many new techniques that make it easier to
identify singing warblers and other species. Based on a new system outlined
in *The Warbler Guide*, Tom will explain and demonstrate how to understand
a song's structure, the characteristics that make up the song, and how to
use a song finder to quickly identify a singing warbler.

*NOTE: This program will take place Wednesday evening at the Brooklyn
Public Library, Central Branch, 10 Grand Army Plaza (718-230-2191)*
