I got word its back by water treatment plant near vets peir per Kathy Toomey.
Not far for a Gull flying over water but a little ways by land on ones lunch
hour.

Adult Black Headed Gull is on the abandon pier at the end of Dwight st in red
hook near IKEA. Presumably continuing bird spotted at veterans pier by Julian

A Black-headed Gull was seen again today near Veterans Pier in Brooklyn at
around noon, the same time one was seen there yesterday. I believe a couple
of people tried for it later on, unsuccessfully, and it was not there

There is currently an immature Black-headed Gull standing on the mudflats
off the eastern tip of Plum Beach.
The tide is going out, so the flats that it is standing on should still be
exposed for another 3-5 hours.
Car acess to this location is from the eastbound Belt Parkway only.

Jacob Drucker and I birded Veterans Memorial Pier this morning. There were few
gulls on the pier itself, but many in the surrounding waters. We located the
immature BLACK-HEADED GULL just south of the pier, in water close to the rocks.
