To add to Robert and peter's posts of a great morning at croton point there were numerous harriers over both main and model air landfill. In the pines at parking lot up top were pine warbler, brown creeper, and golden crown kinglet, at the ball field a single killdeer, perched on the bay side

I had an excellent few hour's birding in and around Croton Point Park (Westchester County). Parking lot adjacent and just west of the model airplane field:  around 11:00am, 5 Pipits, a few dozen Horned Larks, one adult Lapland Longspur.   Then a beautiful light phase Rough-legged Hawk flew by
