Karlo Mirth will present "A Bumble in the Falklands: Shags, Johnny Rooks, Mollymawks and Penguins, of Course" In November 2019, Alison and Karlo Mirth spent a week in the Falkland Islands, hoping to see at least four species of penguins, and with luck a fifth species. Flying from remote island to remote island, they encountered spectacular scenery, wild weather, and great birds. One of the many highlights included spending an afternoon (by themselves!) observing up close the amusing antics of a colony of two thousand Southern Rockhopper Penguins. There won't be anyone at the front door, so please be prompt and ring the doorbell to be let in.
