In addition to the birds noted by Anthony and Seth, there was a Dovekie off of
Ditch Plains in Montauk today, along with a Red-necked Grebe and about 25
Purple Sandpipers. At Further Lane in East Hampton, there were four adult
Greater White-fronted Geese.

As Seth noted, Razorbills were numerous and widespread. Other species that
seemed to have increased with the recent colder weather were Horned Grebes and
Common Goldeneyes, and Red-throated Loons were abundant on the water and moving
westward along the ocean-front.
