When I first arrived at Patchogue Lake to search for the Eurasian Wigeon yesterday afternoon, I failed to locate it at the south end of the lake. Overall, the waterfowl numbers appeared relatively low at the south end. I continued up to the north end of the lake where the drake Eurasian Wigeon was quickly located among a large flock of wigeon and other waterfowl just south of Roe Blvd. Good Birding, Michael McBrien East Patchogue
