The molting male Eurasian Wigeon found by Derek Rogers continues at St. John's Pond in Cold Spring Harbor. Also present on the pond were three Redheads; hopefully both species stick around for the Northern Nassau CBC on Saturday.
Also worth mentioning in the area were 44 Canvasbacks on the Centerport Mill Pond and 11 male Wood Ducks at the Betty Allen Preserve.
