Stella Miller, Brendan Fogarty and I birded Jones Beach (Nassau Co.) and the
Jamaica Bay East Pond (Queens Co.) in the rain today. There was a large
flock of terns on the outer side of the Boat Basin Island. Within it were
two Black Terns and two Black Skimmers. A Green Heron was feeding
