A few stops around Gravesend Bay prior to the front passage and Coney Island Beach during the storm turned up a few new arrivals as well as some lingering species.
Coney Island Creek Park Great Egret Snowy Egret Greater Yellowlegs Lesser Black-backed Gull Laughing Gull Field Sparrow Fox Sparrow Swamp Sparrow Good numbers of both loons and Horned Grebe are still present in the bay.
