It's possible. It's a hard area to access, mostly viewed from across the
back of the harbor.

I was driving this morning on 25A by the Roslyn bridge, which is a tall
bridge over land and the beginning of the marshes of that bay and this bird
was going up very vertically from the marshes, to get a little
feet are mostly green, consistent with
hatch-year birds of both species at this time of year.

Saw an immature Little Blue Heron at Twin Lakes Park in Eastchester, NY. It
was with a Green Heron and Great Egret.

Seen flying overhead, around 10:45AM, circling the Ice Pond, was a Little Blue
Heron. We watched until we could no longer see it as it flew north east.
Other spring migrants included Pine Warblers, and Ruby-crowned Kinglets, and
Towhees.

A 2-hour afternoon walk at Gardiner County Park was highlighted by a LITTLE
BLUE HERON in the bayside marsh. The marsh also yielded 11 Glossy Ibis and 5
Snowy Egrets. The woodlands to the north offered up some migrant passerines
such as Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (2), Ruby-crowned Kinglet (3), Hermit
I saw my FOS Little Blue Heron in Jamaica Bay this afternoon just north of
Rockaway and east of the A train tracks. There also are a number of Glossy
Ibis in the Bay now.
