Bob O'Neill found a very cooperative Wilson's Snipe in the Vale of Cashmere
in the northern end of Brooklyn's Prospect Park and then later refound the
Pine Warbler found yesterday in the Vale by Eddie Davis. Today the warbler
was on the path above the Rose Garden not far from the Vale. Red Tails were
seen mating. Rob Jett found an American Pippit on the Peninsula Meadow.
Many Robins and Song Sparrows have moved into the park in the last day or
so. I had a count of 46 species today.
