This (Friday) afternoon, an adult Red-headed Woodpecker was observed flying at Chestnut Ridge Hawkwatch, Bedford Corners NY (just outside the city/township limits of Mount Kisco--Region 9). The bird crossed in front of our east view just below eye level approximately 15 meters from the watch
