Today at about 10 AM, I went over to the fields first to Sound/ Osborne,while there were only a few birds, I did see the Bairds with several Killdeer, which flew off to the west as I watched. No Golden plovers. Then I went to sod field East of Roanoke Vinyard, orignally saw nothing, but

A quick survey, of most of the above, came up empty, however, I did pick up a Lesser Yellowlegs, 2 Solitary Sandpipers and 2 Least Sandpipers, while managing to miss the normally plentiful Kildeer! All 3 species mentioned were found at a wet area on Penny La. in Northville. I also had my

Thanks to Eileen Schwinn I saw my FOS A. Golden Plover today! She called earlier re: the 1 golden she found ( which grew to 3 before I left) in the sod field on the n/s of Northville Tpke, between Route 105 & Doctors Path-this is directly opposite an "old potato barn",which has had the dirt
