After locating 2 Saw-whet Owls on the Mohonk Lake-Ashokan Reservoir
CBC on December 18th, we decided to go back to relocate them to see if
they are wintering there. This evening, Susan Rogers and I went to
Sundale Rd, near the town of Krumville, Ulster County. We called for
nearly a half hour until one Saw-whet finally responded, and then flew
right to us. Always amazed!
