Just an update on the injured northern saw-whet owl I reported on yesterday. The birds broken wing was set and the bird was brought to a certified rehabbed who will likely keep the bird through winter and release it during spring (which is important as the bird likely was migrating south) assuming the win heals properly. Additionally the bet said they had received another Northern Saw-Whet owl with a broken wing. I'm not sure of that bird will be going to the same rehabber.
