Yesterday, I birded this refuge for the first time and it was well worth
the visit, even though I was too late to pick up some of the wintering
birds such as short-eared owl that commonly occur there.
Best birds were:

1 EASTERN PHOEBE
1 BLACK VULTURE among 10-20 TVs
