A great big THANK YOU to all the people who have responded to my request for suggestions of places to go birding in NY. I am overwhelmed at the number of responses I have gotten. It will take me from now until we leave to sort through all the suggestions & make a "game plan". A task I relish. Whoever said New Yorkers weren't very friendly didn't know what he was talking about. But then again, I have always believed birders everywhere are a cut above the average joe.
