Hi all,
Wheatear was still there as of 6 PM. Frequenting the fence along the train
tracks but also flying all around the area, perching in trees, on a garbage
can, and often staying on the ground inside the train track fence. Luckily,
the many trains moving by would flush the bird onto the fence f
The Northern Wheatear female/winter male was at the Croton train station boat
ramp parking area as of 12:50pm when I left. Nice bird. Thanks Christine for
the notice.
