Robinson’s pond (north side of south country) has had a recent influx of winter
waterfowl including:

Hooded merganser

Possibly the bird will reappear today at low tide at Croton RR station. Low
tide is around 3:00 - 4:30.

A loop around the lake at Hendrickson Park revealed two different Cackling
Geese among the wintering flocks of Canadas. One is a recognizable, returning
individual, back for (at least) its fourth consecutive winter alongside a small
Canada Goose that it is always closely associated with.
