I received a phone call from a friend who reports that a WHITE PELICAN was
seen on the Hudson River at Coeymans, Albany County, this morning, June 11.
Although, not birders, this guy and his buddies had good close looks at the
bird and gave a good description of what one would expect. They

Joe Giunta, Joe Viglietta and I (Sy Schiff) made a second trip to Suffolk Co.
At our first stop we found the previously reported BLUE GROSBEAK, a first year
