Today I birded from Hook Pond, East Hampton to Mecox Bay, Watermill (Suffolk

Hi all,
This afternoon, after searching unsuccessfully for the Hermit Warbler at
Sunken Meadow, we went to West End. The Coast Guard Station had 3 Harlequin

be there. Okay, not a million. The CBC next week should
Dune Rd. this morning was relatively quiet with no American Bitterns seen

Had a Northern Shrike near the first boat launch just South of Lazy Point in

On 12/10/10 I was at Sunken Meadow St.Pk. about 8AM. It was doggone frosty but
no joy. Norm Klein showed and showed me the locations and times the Hermit
Warbler was seen. Then Debra Allen, Randy Schutz and Peter Haskil arrived from
NYC. We all had no joy with the Hermit Warbler.
Then I ran
It was out and about this Saturday morning at 9.00am, foraging on the ground
for crabapples on the east and west sides of the meadow.
