The Gray-Hooded Gull might still be in the area. It clearly seems to have
arrived at the beach from somewhere else on the days it has been seen and has
been seen to fly off to somewhere else later in the day. Let's pool information:

What has been its arrival time?
I just received a note from a friend out at Coney Island. As of 3:25pm, the
gull has NOT been seen today.

The imm. White Ibis showed well this morning from around 11:15 - 12:00 noon.
When I arrived around 11:00 a birder who was just leaving said he had seen
it 10 minutes earlier from the wooden platform on the south side of Oil City
Road. It was no longer visible because it was now feed
