I finally have a chance to add some details to those kindly reported by Andrew
this morning.
Patricia Lindsay and I found the Audubon's Warbler in the patch of vegetation
between the eastern edge of the easternmost parking lot and the marsh. This
patch of trees and brush is surrounded by a snow

Jones Beach West End and Point Lookout; 11 January
Joe Giunta, Sam Jannazzo, and I (Sy Schiff) started at the bar in front of the
marina. High tide; what was left of the bar was covered with BRANT intermixed
with HERRING GULLS, 12+ AMERICAN OYSTERCATCHERS. plus a few DUNLIN. We walked

Traveling to Long Island today for east end rarities, Rich Fried and I found
the MOBL at the Haunted House just west of the usual location near HLR. Also
present was an Easter Phoebe.
Earlier in Eastport on the pond was the Barnacle Goose and then out out at
Orient State Park, exactly where Bo
Shai Mitra, just called to report that he has found an Audubon's Warbler at
Sunken Meadow State Park Long Island. The bird is being seen in the
northern eastern corner of the eastern parking lot.
