While on the road for work today I made a few detours. I had hoped to get out to Iroquois for the Eurasian Wigeon, but that will have to wait for the weekend. . . Lake Rd - Wilson 5 Killdeer 75+ Ring-billed Gulls - nothing unusual stood out form the pack 1 Horned Lark 6 European Starlings

Pam Musk and I ventured out to Fitzpatrick Drive , Fort Edward. It was spitting rain that turned to light rain :( 03-15-12 near dusk . We did see 3 Northern Harrier (a nice adult male, a brown tone male and an adult female harrier)! At the perfect time for owls, it stopped raining :) 6 Short

Hello Rich, When I used to drive Long Island often in a big rig all thru 2011, I reported seeing 1 Common Raven usually at the southern end but twice on the northern end of the Tappen Zee bridge. Once at the sign announcing White Plains Westchester county. :) Once I saw it flying with a large

At noon, on Tuesday, March 13, I watched a C. Raven fly up from a downtown parking lot in White Plains, Westchester County. That was unusual in itself, but in addition, the bird was carrying a big bit of food (looked like a bagel or roll) as if flew off. I watched it continue on as it disappeared
