There were three YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO "fledglings" (pretty fresh out the nest)
and at least one attentive adult at Blydenburgh County Park in Smithtown
(Suffolk County) this afternoon. It was awesome, actually.

On a "Goatsuckers Galore" trip to the Westhampton Dwarf Pine Plains, sponsored
by ALULA Birding and Natural History Tours on 6/5/2012, we heard four (or
perhaps five) different Whip-poor-wills calling from various locations in the
southwest quadrant of the Dwarf Pine Plains. Disappointingly, we
I made a quick pass through Bryant Park yesterday (the 5th) looking for the
Mourning Warbler, which I failed to find, but I did see:
