The bird was seen today at 0950 just before the entrance rd to field 6, but was not there when I returned from my walk at 1220. It had relocated to the field in front of the park office adjacent to parking lot 1. It was being harassed by the other geese at both locations.  -- NYSbirds-L List

I led my weekly Winter Eco-Cruise for NYC Audubon yesterday, and we had a great day.  In addition to the ever-popular Harbor Seals, we spotted Great and Double-crested Cormorants on Governor's Island; Red-throated Loon, Gadwall, Black Duck, Bufflehead, and Red-breasted Merganser in Erie Basin;
