The Virginia Rail showed it self a few minutes ago. Other birders have seen
it show every fifteen minutes or so.

We also noted RB Grosbeak and Great Crested Flycatcher. An excellent

This morning around 9 AM Bobby Rosetti and I saw 3 Buff-breasted Sandpipers, 4
Pectorals, 2 Leasts, and 17 American Golden Plovers, all but 2 adults in a
variety of molts, mostly alternate plumage. 2 Vesper Sparrows were seen flying
away on the Epcal runways, and a Grasshopper Sparrow was also

There were quite a lot of bird activity though, we saw close to ten warbler
species and a few other migrant species.
